House across the river from the Simon Pearce Factory.
Looking up river - very pretty.
Looking down river - the drop off under the bridge is a waterfall.
Front doors to Simon Pearce. Very old building - the doors are huge and heavy but look great.
They make "pottery" type dishes along with the glass. This young man is making deep dish pie plates. He was very good. He could talk and work at the same time.
This was one of the employees. Yes, he has bagpipes and he was playing for us. It's a bit blurry because I didn't want to use a flash to take the picture.
A view through a very dirty glass door of the waterfall. They use hydroelectric power at the facility.
Taken with the blackberry (got worried about carrying the large camera around all the glass). These are the glass blowers working. It was fun to watch.
A very blurry picture of the guy heating up the glass in the furnace... from the blackberry.
